Fausto Meza-Flores Biography: El Chapo Isidro Crime

Findings by our platform reveal that Fausto Isidro Meza-Flores, better known as “El Chapo Isidro” or “Chapito Isidro,” was born June 19, 1982, in Mexico. He rose through the ranks of the old Beltrán Leyva organization and later built his own heavily armed crew based mainly in Sinaloa.

The plain truth is this man has spent more than twenty years moving multi-ton loads of heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and marijuana north into the United States. His group, the Meza-Flores Transnational Criminal Organization, has fought bloody battles and ordered kidnappings, murders, and torture to keep control of production and trafficking routes.

But here is where it gets crazy. U.S. prosecutors say the organization has killed Mexican police, soldiers, and rival traffickers along the way.

A federal indictment first came down in 2012 in the District of Columbia. A superseding indictment in 2019 added more drug and firearms charges. On February 4, 2025, the FBI placed him on the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

The U.S. Department of State’s Narcotics Rewards Program offers up to five million dollars for information that leads to his arrest or conviction.

Where Is El Chapo Isidro Now?

Meza-Flores stands about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

As it stands right now, he is believed to be living somewhere in Mexico, still directing operations from the shadows in Sinaloa and nearby states.

Simple. Authorities call him armed, dangerous, and an international flight risk.
